YOU WERE MADE FOR THIS

Each local area has a committee of adults who believe in the mission of Young Life: to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. You'll find adults from all different backgrounds, careers and churches, including lots of moms and dads who care about kids. The committee, comprised of parents, Young Life alumni and civic leaders, provides a foundation of financial, administrative and moral support for the local Young Life team. Ask your area staff person for a local list, and feel free to call these folks with your questions at any time.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT TO BEING ON COMMITTEE?

Like most volunteer opportunities, it can look different for every person. Our hope is that you would consider 2-4 years, no more, no less. 

HOW MANY MEETINGS ARE HELD?

We come together as a large group at least once a quarter. Beyond that, there are sub committees for different events that are more active at parts of the year. 

DO I HAVE TO GO TO CAMP?

Absolutley not! But, as the video above hits on, that is a great way to really show you what's posssible in your area.
